Sports "heroes"?! Fuck that. But, George this guy can knock a tiny ball into a small hole! Well it's alot like watching flies screw. George, this guy can swim faster than anyone else! Are any sharks chasing him? No, you say? Then he's wasting his time! What I'm trying to say is these are the people that the MSM are shoving down our throats to be our "idols". What about great thinkers? People who want(ed) to change things? They don't glorify these people because they don't want things to change. They are perfectly happy just watching other people be their "worker bees". Why don't we work for ourselves and our families? Because no one else gains anything from YOU working for yourself and family. We can't seem to grasp this fact. But all I'm trying to say is, move on a farm, grow your own food, if they ask for property tax say, "Have you protected MY land from ninjas or terrorists? No? Then let me be on my own and if I DO by ANY chance get attacked by foreign invaders I guess I'll be SOL". It sounds weird doesn't it? Wanting to live on a farm? It's what we did before The Industrial Revolution and before that we did the same thing for thousands of years. So why the change? Laziness? It may be harder work, but it is seeming like a better way of life than what we have now.
Just a rant on things that bother me at the moment.

Oh at last, someone else who agrees. I've said this for a while but a lot more since the Olympics about how it's stupid to call someone a hero when all they've done is a pithy insignificant thing. There are so many people out there saving and changing lives and never once getting recognised for it, whilst some guy has wasted his life doing something that will benefit no one and gets medals and worldwide recognition and even honors from the freaking Queen. Something ain't right there.
